2007 North American Cereal Rust Workshop - followup
headline bar

The USDA-ARS Cereal Disease Lab and the University of Minnesota hosted the North American Cereal Rust Workshop on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota April 2-4, 2007.  Over 65 scientists from around the world attended and presented their latest findings on rust research including presentations on cereal rust surveys, host resistance genetics, rust population biology, new molecular diagnostic tests, and molecular biology of cereal rust diseases.  A highlight of the meeting was a presentation by Cereal Disease Lab emeritus Alan "Big Foot" Roelfs on the origins and history of the lab at an evening banquet.

Thank you!
We would like to thank all the attendees for making the workshop a success.
