MRI-based cell tracking of immune and stem cells

Dr. Shapiro’s research interest is in applying novel imaging technology to study cell populations, including cell transplants

and immune cells.  His laboratory emphasizes the fabrication of biocompatible nanomaterials for use in MRI investigations.
