Distributions

Germplasm of citrus, citrus relatives, and dates from the Repository is available to researchers worldwide free of charge. Limits are placed on the quantities distributed to individuals, due to the limited amount of clonal material available at any given time. Citrus and related genera accessions are distributed as budwood and as seed, in limited quantities, for specific circumstances of need. Date germplasm is distributed as offshoots, seeds, and pollen. Tissue cultured date germplasm will be distributed as new techniques for eliminating variability among cultured explants are developed and tested.
