RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests are the molecular ecology of insects impacting cereal grains, especially aphids.  I utilize molecular markers to understand the nature of aphid biotypes, population structure, evolution, and taxonomy.  These interests also cross over to plant resistance, natural enemies, and invasive species.
