Research Specialty and Interests

 

   

•Regulation of seed germination by GA signaling genes

 

•Hormonal regulation of wheat stress responses

 

Basic research projects are carried out in the Arabidopsis thaliana model system, then translated and applied to wheat. Research is focused on understanding the mechanisms of hormone signaling for increasing resistance to preharvest sprouting and to drought and other abiotic stresses.
