Historic runoff, precipitation, meteorological, lysimeter, soils, and other data have been widely used by Federal and State agencies and researchers in the U.S., and by researchers and governments throughout the world for many purposes, including hydrologic method development, model calibrations and validations, and exploratory data research uses. The data have been used as standard data sets for regulatory purposes. The historic runoff data are useful for determining the effects of land-management practices on small field-size areas, the size of area on which management practices are implemented on farms.
