OTHER INFORMATION: Grown commercially on limited acreage only in Czechoslovakia. Sold by the hop trade under the collective name Saazer or Bohemian Early Red hop. According to Rybacek (1991), Lucan is "one of the oldest recognized varieties grown in the Czech Republic.
