Personal Bio

Dr. Li Li is a USDA-ARS Research Molecular Biologist at the Robert W. Holley Center for Agriculture and Health on the Cornell campus in Ithaca, NY. She is also an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics at Cornell University. Dr. Li Li received her B.A. in Horticulture at Sichuan Agricultural University, and her Ph. D. in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry from the University of Reading in England. Currently her research program focuses mainly on gene discovery and understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying phytonutrient biosynthesis and micronutrient metabolism for improving the nutritional quality and health-promoting properties of food crops.
