My current research focus is evaluating crop growth and yield response to regulated deficit irrigation. Specifically my research covers many areas, including quantification and estimation of evapotranspiration, deficit irrigation management and water balance, infrared thermometry and canopy temperature measurement methods, and other ground-based remote sensing methods. I also have expertise in hydrologic and crop modeling, as well as numerical sensitivity analysis methods. I grew up on an irrigated farm in south-central Nebraska and enjoy the opportunity to use my skills to develop methods to help farmers.
