Repairing critical deferred maintenance including replacing HVAC
and plumbing system components in various buildings.

Research at the Coastal Plains Soil, Water, and Plant Research Center
The mission of the Coastal Plains Soil, Water, and Plant Research Center is
to anticipate and solve problems that agriculture on the south east coastal
plain faces and to mitigate harmful impacts on air, water and soil. The Lab
works on to improve both livestock production and crop production such as
cotton.
For example, researchers at the Center have recently developed a manure
management system that reduces odors and protects water quality. The system has
already been adopted in North Carolina
