Research Project: PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN ARS AND BOWIE STATE UNIVERSITY FOR HUMAN NUTRITION RESEARCH STUDIES

Objective:
This partnership is designed to augment research programs, transfer technical knowledge to students, exchange information and knowledge, and enhance the quality of science research and education. BHNRC activities and programs can facilitate opportunities for students at Bowie State University who are majoring in fields of health, science, mathematics, nursing and computer sciences. Bowie State University students can facilitate the conduct, analysis, and reporting of research studies conducted at BHNRC.

Approach:
Students will participate in human nutrition research studies conducted at BHNRC. The work may be used to meet partial requirements for their degree. BHNRC staff will serve as facilitators to the process including working with students, jointly planning and presenting seminars and symposia at the university, and participating as thesis/dissertation committee members.
