Research Project: PROCESSING TECHNOLOGIES FOR AGRICULTURAL AND FOOD PRODUCTS

Objective:
The broad objectives of this NFCA are to promote cooperation in research, talents, cultivation and research achievements application through the exchanges of staff and knowledge.

Approach:
The areas of cooperation of this NFCA shall be those which contribute to the achievement of mutual objectives of the Parties. The following key areas can be considered as amongst those for joint cooperation efforts between the Parties: a. exchange of staff and technologies for the purpose of working in areas of common interest; b. conduct collaborative research programs in agro-products processing disciplines of mutual interests, such as cereals and oils processing, meat processing, diary processing, fruit and vegetable processing, agro-products preservation and logistics, agro-products processing quality and bio-safety, nutrition and health, functional food, traditional food processing and agro-products processing machinery, etc.; c. joint organize bi-lateral or multi-lateral conferences, symposia, seminars and other scientific meetings on agro-products processing research topics of mutual interest; d. exchanges of scientific literature, including bibliographic materials and research findings; e. Co-cultivate PhD. Students. The PhD. Students should finish the courses in CAAS in the first year, do experiments in ERRC in the second year, and back to IAPPST-CAAS to get the PhD degree;
