Partnership with the University to celebrate World Food Day (October 16, 2014) and initiate research on the relationship between food systems and health to generate new knowledge and develop behavioral and environmental interventions that contribute to reducing the prevalence of obesity in the community.
The effort will involve both parties jointly planning, developing, and conducting a research symposium for World Food Day. Future efforts may include the Cooperator collecting community level data to build a database on the food system in Prince George’s County.
