Objective:
Conduct collaborative research to improve milk and dairy products quality and safety; to create nutritious, value-added dairy foods and ingredients; and, to develop and test concepts for dairy products utilization.
Approach:
1)Information will be exchanged initially through seminars, group discussions and through lab tours and demonstrations; and 2) research will be identified to target intractable problems in milk and dairy product safety, product quality, nutrition or utilization with an emphasis on issues of importance to the Northeast US.
Separate Agreements will be set-up for any/all Research Agreements which result from this effort.
