Location: Small Grains and Potato Germplasm Research

Project Number: 5366-21310-004-06
Project Type: Nonfunded Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Aug 03, 2010
End Date: Apr 30, 2015

Objective:
Objectives of this research are to develop improved diet formulations and rainbow trout stocks that meet the economic and growth requirements of commercial aquaculturists by: formulating and testing sustainable plant-based diets and evaluating selected rainbow trout families.

Approach:
This research performed under institutional biosafety policies will benefit commercial aquaculturists, by improving formulations for commercial diets by testing the plant-based sustainable diets in a commercial setting.
