Location: Small Grains and Potato Germplasm Research

Project Number: 2050-21000-032-11
Project Type: Specific Cooperative Agreement

Start Date: Aug 01, 2013
End Date: Jun 30, 2018

Objective:
Assess potato cultivars that have not been previously evaluated for expression of BRR symptoms.

Approach:
Seed pieces of each potato cultivar will be inoculated with two concentrations of Cms, 104 and 108 colony forming units/ml, to characterize the expression of BRR in each clone. The expression of BRR in inoculated seed will be compared to healthy, non-infected controls.
