Location: Corn, Soybean and Wheat Quality Research Unit

Project Number: 5082-21000-016-11
Project Type: Reimbursable

Start Date: Jan 01, 2014
End Date: Dec 31, 2015

Objective:
Increasing soybean yield in MG-II to IV by incorporating high-yield genes from diverse soybean lines with genes from plant introductions.

Approach:
High-yielding elite lines from Ohio will be crossed to breeding lines from collaborators, progenies will be advanced by early generation testing or single seed descend to F5 generation and yield tested over locations and years. The best lines will be selected and released as germplasm.
