Objective:
Establish, replicate and repeat field trials in the crop production areas of interest.
Approach:
Field research trials will be conducted to determine efficacy and feasibility of ARS-derived crop production systems, such as anaerobic soil disinfestation, and combinations of potential or currently registered non-fumigant soil treatments. Research will include fumigant standards for each representative crop and may include combinations of materials with broad-spectrum activity against nematodes and pathogens with herbicides to improve pest management programs.
