Objective:
The objective of this agreement is to develop an Education Program within Historic Fort Reno, Inc. that will work closely with ARS to 1) strengthen ties between ARS and the El Reno Public School District and other K-12 educators, 2) enhance STEM education opportunities for secondary, undergraduate, and graduate students through internships and student research projects to be conducted with ARS mentors, and 3) improve communication about the importance of agriculture, agricultural research, and the findings of the Grazinglands Research Laboratory to the public, including the Fort Reno Visitor Center clientele.

Approach:
The Historic Fort Reno, Inc. will develop an Education program in collaboration with ARS, and hire an Education Coordinator to be supervised by the Director of the Fort Reno Visitor Center. The ARS will assign an ARS education liaison to work closely with the Education Coordinator.
