Location: Range Management Research

Project Number: 3050-11210-007-46
Project Type: Interagency Reimbursable Agreement

Start Date: May 26, 2014

Approach:
a. Continue monitoring established plots on Holloman Air Force Base and its geographically separated units and affiliated soil disturbance plots. b. Continue development of a model to support planning for sustainable military training. c. Establish a calibration site on gypsic soils on Holloman to support more acurate modeled predictions of wind erosion and dust emission to support both a future (2015) rangeland health assessment, and management including training activities. d. Subcontract to New Mexico State University: $70,000
