Interpretive Summary: A genus was created for a species that was interpreted as very different from other species in its genus. This was a mistake and this species should not have been placed in a separate genus. We corrected this mistake and use high resolution images to provide explicit evidence for our perspective. This data will be used by everyone who needs to identify parasitoid wasps in this genus, including taxonomists, biological control researchers, and scientists who study biological diversity.

Technical Abstract: Kozlotelenomus Mineo, O’Connor & Ashe syn. n. is treated as junior synonym of Trissolcus Ashmead; Trissolcus mopsus (Nixon) comb. rev. is transferred from Kozlotelenomus.
