Citation: Kinscherf, T., Willis, D.K. 2002. Dna sequence of the tabd gene within the tabtoxin biosynthetic gene cluster of pseudomonas syringae. Genbank.

Technical Abstract: DNA sequence of the tabD gene within the tabtoxin biosynthetic gene cluster of Pseudomonas syringae (GenBank accession number AY091643). The predicted gene product of the P. syringae tabD gene is a probable aminotransferase, class I and II,pfam00155 (1e-12); most similar to aat-like gene products from Azospirillum brasilense (accession:AAG10013) and Neisseria meningitidis (accession:NP_283882). The gene is located within toxin biosynthetic region, suggesting a role in tabtoxin synthesis.
