Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: The loss of methyl bromide (MB) as a soil fumigant has created the need for new weed and disease management systems for crops such as strawberry, tomato, pepper, and ornamentals. Existing registered chemistries have proven to be inadequate as drop-in replacements for methyl bromide. The goal of this research project was to evaluate herbicidal and fungicidal activity of new compounds to determine efficacy as replacements for methyl bromide. Two compounds, AJMC-330 and AJMC-334 provided excellent control of the weed species tested, as well as control of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici.
