Interpretive Summary: One product of the ARS research watersheds that is useful for both research and management applications is the accumulated, long-term database common to most units. Dissemination of this data has proven to be challenging. In this report we describe a series of data reports published by the Northwest Watershed Research Center in which 35 years of data were described and made available electronically. We then illustrated some potential management oriented applications of this data related to characterization of stream flow, sediment discharge and stream temperature variability.

Technical Abstract: Research watersheds administered by the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) have collected valuable and unique hydrological data for more than 35 years. This paper describes the effort of one watershed to distribute that data to the public. A few examples of potential applications related to characterization of stream flow, sediment discharge and stream temperature are provided.
