Technical Abstract: This chapter describes the resources held at the Maize Genetics Cooperation • Stock Center in detail and also provides some information about the North Central Regional Plant Introduction Station (NCRPIS) in Ames, IA, Centro Internacional de Mejoramiento de Maiz y Trigo (CIMMYT) in Mexico, and the National Center for Genetic Resources Preservation (NCGRP) in Fort Collins, CO, which is the backup facility for the three active collections of maize germplasm.
