Technical Abstract: Cornfields throughout Florida and north into Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina were sampled in spring and summer 2007 and 2008 to begin to determine the distribution of Euxesta and Chaetopsis species infesting corn. Chaetopsis massyla was found in ears from all four states while Euxesta spp distribution was more localized.
