Interpretive Summary: In this paper, we add a new lady beetle (Anatis lecontei Casey) to the list of South Dakota species records based on its collection for the first time in the state. We also include an erratum to delete another species of lady beetle (Hyperaspis fimbriolata Melsheimer) from the list based on its mistaken inclusion in an earlier paper. The number of species of lady beetles recorded from South Dakota remains at 79, with no net change from the addition and deletion.

Technical Abstract: In this paper, we provide collection information to add Anatis lecontei Casey to the list of South Dakota Coccinellidae based on its collection for the first time in the state. We also include an erratum to delete Hyperaspis fimbriolata Melsheimer from the list based on its mistaken inclusion in an earlier paper. The number of species of Coccinellidae recorded from South Dakota remains at 79, with no net change from the addition of A. lecontei and deletion of H. fimbriolata.
