Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: The complete coding sequence of channel catfish apolipoprotein A-I is 777 bp in length, encoding 258 amino acids. The publishing of this coding sequence will also allow phylogenetic comparison between catfish ApoAI and ApoAI genes from other species. The availability of this complete coding sequence of channel catfish apolipoprotein A-I will allow researchers to clone full-lenth or partial-length of this gene for functional genomics study.
