Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: Neospora caninum is a recently discovered parasite of livestock and companion animals. It causes abortion and neonatal death in cattle, sheep, goats, and horses. Its life cycle and sources of infections are not known. There is no vaccine for neosporosis at the present.
