Technical Abstract: The intent of the manuscript is to be a comprehensive guide for strawberry production for most areas of the United States except for Florida and California. The Spray Application Technology chapter will include information on powered and manual spray equipment selection, operation and calibration. A discussion of more recent developments in delivery technologies that may reduce spray drift and increase the efficiency of applications is included in this chapter. This information will aid strawberry growers in making better pest management decisions and reduce the impact on non-target areas.
