Interpretive Summary: Drainage properties of a landscape topography can be determined by computer if the landscape has been digitized. A software package that defines landscape properties for surface runoff and erosion models has been developed and is being distributed to users. This manuscript is the user manual that helps the user apply the software. It contains instructions on nthe selection of input values and user options. It also identifies the different output that the user will get from the software package.

Technical Abstract: This user manual provides information on the operation and application of TOPAZ Version 1.20. The manual first gives a brief overview of TOPAZ and its operation. TOPAZ consists of five modules. Each module is treated in a separate chapter which describes the input files, input parameters, user options, output files and interactive procedures.
