Interpretive Summary: The Agricultural Research Service, Northwest Watershed Research Center (NWRC) conducts research on hydrologic and erosion processes on rangelands in the interior northwest. The NWRC operates Reynolds Creek experimental Watershed in the Owyhee Mountains in southwest Idaho and has been collecting runoff and sediment measurements along Reynolds Creek for over 35 years. This publication outlines the locations, type of equipment and field procedures currently used by the NWRC to measure stream flow and collect suspended sediment samples.
