Technical Abstract: The beekeeping industry is entering a new phase in varroa control. Due to varroa development of resistance to registered compounds, an integration of tactics will be the future strategy of managing varroa infestations. New compounds being investigated, as well as alternative control tactics, will likely be combined for most effective utilization of both approaches.
