Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: When I assumed my present position in 1988, I inherited a collection of slides from Dr. CE Peterson, USDA-ARS and formally Michigan State University. Some of these slides may have also originated from USDA researchers in Beltsville, such as Henry Jones. We produced digital scans of these slides and have made them freely available on my lab’s website (http://haveylab.hort.wisc.edu/). In all cases, the scans were labeled with the same information that was written on the original slide. However often there was no label and the specific origin or topic of the slide may not be clear. Any information, or corrections, regarding the labels for these figures are welcome.
