Publication Date: 3/7/2013
Citation: Arias De Ares, R.S. 2013. Molecular markers and strategies to control aflatoxin in peanut. Valdosta State University. 03-07-2013. Oral Presentation.

Interpretive Summary: Methods of isolation of molecular markers and software developed in ARS for finding the most informative markers will be presented. Also, two different approaches being used at the NPRL to reduce aflatoxin in peanut will be discussed. One is the development of phytoalexin-detoxification enzyme inhibitors, and other is the use of RNA interference.
