Interpretive Summary:

Technical Abstract: The USDA Water Erosion Prediction Project (WEPP) erosion prediction computer programs will be delivered to user agencies and the public in 1995. The 10 years of research and modeling efforts have produced a large amount of data, computer code, and documentation. Compact Disk - Read Only Memory (CD-ROM) technology is well-suited as a delivery vehicle for the WEPP information. A blank CD-ROM disk can hold about 650 Megabytes of data, which easily provides enough space for all of the WEPP information and also allows for inclusion of additional training material. The purpose of this paper presentation is to describe the development of a multimedia CD-ROM for delivery of the WEPP erosion technology.
