Slide 20.   Ord River irrigation area farmer Mike Eppler of Ceres Farms discusses his use of automated solar powered PAM applicators with local farm chemical dealer Gary Ramsay (Barnyard Tading).  Mike liked the dosing control possible with these applicators, allowing the matching of PAM needs to each individual soil or cultural operation.  Mike was pleased to hear that no adverse soil biological effects have been documented with PAM use.  We referred Mike and a number of others in the Ord River area to several published works that document the environmental safety of anionic erosion control PAMs.
