Slide 28.   Near Griffith, New South Wales, effluent containing large nutrient loads promotes algal blooms in drain waters.  PAM has been shown in ARS work in Idaho, to be capable of removing large amounts of algae from water.  This feature of PAM may have some use for cleaning these nutrient laden waters of both the algae itself, and the nutrients they sequester.
