ASF Projects

• DEFEND is an international partnership of academic, industrial and governmental organisations working together to tackle the emergence of African swine fever and lumpy skin disease in Europe. It is a five year project, running from 2018 to 2023, funded from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, under grant agreement No 773701.

• Targeted research effort on African swine fever" (ASFORCE)
  In response to the threat of African Swine Fever (ASF) entry in EU, posed by its spreading in Eastern Europe, the combined effort of 18 partners aim to provide veterinarians, pig farmers and policy makers with practical answers and prevention tools against the disease.

• ASF rapid risk assessment and modeling dashboard in the US (funded by DHS)
