Dear Aravind

RE: - NPIRD Project DAV34
Polyacrylamides in Australian Irrigated Agriculture

Thank you for submitting the final report for the above project.  I am pleased to advise that the report has been approved.

This has proven to be one of the most successful travel fellowships that the National Program for Irrigation R&D has funded.  There has been a significant increase in the level of awareness of PAM technologies and their potential use within Australia.  The final report is an excellent compendium of these discussions and summary of our current knowledge on the issue.

Brett Tucker has referred the report to the NPIRD Communications Consultant, Anne Currey, to make recommendations on a publication and distribution strategy.  Either Brett or Anne will be in touch shortly to finalise these arrangements.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the ISIA's significant contribution to the development and implementation of this project.  Please also convey our appreciation to Bob Sojka for his tireless efforts, particularly during his time in Australia.  Brett assures me that he could now recite the "PAM story" in his sleep.

Please contact Brett if you have any queries in relation to this project.

Yours sincerely
Dr Nick Schofield
