The fall series of webinars for this series has been published and registration is open.

As we did last time, we will be showing these in one of the conference rooms and you are welcome to join us (no need to register online if you are going to view the webinars this way but the coordinator would appreciate an rsvp so that she can make sure the room is big enough to accomodate all who are interested).  Schedule will be updated locations as rooms are reserved.

Get the most out of your garden this Fall! The USDA People's Garden Initiative is happy to announce a series of online trainings so you can learn about home canning, seed saving, attracting pollinators, and extending the growing season without leaving your desk. Learn how SNAP recipients can grow food with their benefits and spread the word.

Experts from across the country will teach the trainings. These sessions are part of the coursework for our Executive Master Gardener Program here at Headquarters. We are glad to be able to offer these sessions via webinar for those who would like to learn more about sustainable gardening practices.

There is no charge for registration and all sessions are open to USDA employees and the public. Please follow your agency's protocol for training approval. You may register for one or all of the sessions depending on your interests.

Registration is open now at http://www.extension.iastate.edu/broadcasts/emg/
