The Laboratory in Prosser

Laboratory facilities allow us to rescue accessions that have few seeds, or poor quality seed. We also use DNA molecular marker techniques to understand how accessions are related to one another. Visiting FAO Fellow, Dr. Ram Nath Arora from Haryana University, India, extracts DNA from alfalfa during a recent training visit.
