We had 19 participants provide their expert opinions of overall performance. In addition, flavor was measured. We were simulating "baby" production with our high density plantings. We planted seed by hand in two 5-7 cm bands (10-15 cm centers) in raised beds at both locations - Hancock sand (H) and Palmyra muck (P) on May 16 and 11, respectively, thinned to 90 plants/meter, and harvested August 10 and 11. Replicates were planted but combined for evaluation. Overall, our summer was wet.

Judges gave quite consistent scores among planting densities and locations for a given entry. Note that two lists of results are available - one by Field Number and one by Rank. Flavor was good and comparable from Palmyra and Hancock.
