Molecular geneticist Marilyn Warburton and geneticist Paul Williams tag corn plants identified in the lab as having molecular markers associated with resistance to Aspergillus flavus and aflatoxin accumulation. These tagged plants will be crossed with other breeding lines to develop resistant corn hybrids.
