The Sidney, MT ARS lab is located in the middle of the Bakken Oil Field development. Agriculture and energy are key industries in the region surrounding NPARL.
NPARL is located near the Confluence of the Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers, making this one of the few regions in the country poised for additional irrigation development and expansion, a focus of NPARL research.
Mission
Develop and implement ecologically based strategies, technologies, and products for the sustainable management of insects, pests, and weeds in crops and rangeland. Emphasis is on biological and cultural management strategies that enhance profitability and environmental quality. Field Days
