The Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center was established in 1994, in partnership with the Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The ACNC has become a premier research venue for the study of maternal-child health and early childhood development.
Co-located at Arkansas Children's Nutrition Center in Little Rock, AR, the Microbiome and Metabolism Research Unit conducts innovative research, training, and engagement to advance understanding of how parental-child diet, nutrition, and physical activity optimize development.
