headline bar

The Agroecosystem Management Research Unit (AMRU) at the National Laboratory of Agriculture and The Environment extends warm welcome to Shane Svoboda, who joined Dr. Rogovska’s group as Agricultural Science Research Technician earlier this month.  Shane brings a wealth of hands-on experience in seed science, agricultural technology, field and laboratory operations. He has a unique combination of research skills serving various technical roles in academic and agricultural industry areas, including Pivot Bio, Iowa State University, BASF Plant Science, Dupont Pioneer, and Monsanto.  Shane is not only certified as a commercial pesticide applicator and remote pilot for the small, unmanned aircraft system – skills that would greatly benefit NLAE- but also serves as certified woman’s basketball official! Welcome to NLAE, Shane!
