Biologist
Position Description
As a Biologist for our Unit, I primarily oversee all aspects of data management for the Edge-of-Field Network. My responsibilities include the collection, evaluation, correction, analysis, reporting and storage of large sets of water quality data to ensure its accuracy and integrity. As data manager, I implement effective data management procedures and oversee the organization and maintenance of our Unit’s database system. Working closely with our Scientists, I assist in the analysis of data sets to provide insights and inform Unit research and participate in manuscript development.
In addition to EOF data management, I maintain, calibrate, and collect data from the Unit’s eddy covariance towers in Northwest, Ohio. I also serve as Unit liaison to the LTAR Data Management working group.
