Dr. Sullivan has been Research Leader of the Cell Wall Biology and Utilization Research : USDA ARS since March of 2000.  Prior to that, Dr. Sullivan was a Research Molecular Biologist within the Cell Wall Biology and Utilization Research unit since November of 2002.  Dr. Sullivan's research specializes in genetic modification of alfalfa to enhance plant protein utilization by dairy cow.
