POTATO DESCRIPTOR AND EVALUATION DATA

To view the list of potato descriptors (e.g. diseases, stresses, pests, crossability) and the corresponding evaluation data for each descriptor from GRIN Global, go to this potato descriptor area.

  • To find out more detailed information about each study within a descriptor, simply select the study name.
  • To view a listing of accessions with a certain code value, select the <# accessions> button adjacent to the code of interest under the distribution of values area.
  • To get a listing of all the accessions for a particular study along with the corresponding evaluation data, select the <# Accessions> button adjacent to the study name.
  • To view species information, collection data, or availability data for a particular listed accession, simply select the accession of interested from the list of accessions.

To query for particular data from within descriptors (or multiple descriptors), follow this descriptor query link and choose POTATO from the crops drop-down list. At this point, the potato descriptors page will be displayed.  From here, a descriptor of particular interest (or multiple descriptors) may be selected from the list - then scroll to bottom and select GO to get to the page to enter your query parameters.
